FMP : day 16

Today was spent designing my webpage as well as going to English so i haven't really done much in terms of my FMP. Mainly i have just designed some select areas that will be different than the other spaces on the board. It is coming on much nicer now but preferably i would have liked to have done some more work on it today.

FMP : day 15

Today has been a very design orientated day. After consulting with my tutor Rob we came to the conclusion that the main board design looked a little bit off. There were parts that just didn't look right and so today i have refined it and created what i think should now be the last time i will redesign it.
Using my template i have laid down some of the board spaces including the chance and community chest cards. So far it works really well and is coming along.
i created several designs for more chance cards. I have changed the colours of the cards and had feedback from the people in my class as to what design looks the best or at least what i should include next time. I now have a basic concept of what things to incorporate into making the cards.
later in the day i discovered that i had missed out a vital part of the game which is the waterworks and electric company. After reading the rules and thinking about how the game might get a bit difficult i have come up with a good solution to both problems and that is to make the waterworks and electric company into power pellet spaces which will allow you to kill a ghost if they land on you. It will become a collectable that should balance the game out.

FMP : day 14

Today i had the dentist and English so i have missed a huge portion of today. But so far i managed to start my design for what the community chest cards will look like.
After looking at feedback i will decide whether i should use it on the final project.

FMP : day 13

the first half of today was spent researching into our upcoming trip to the pick me up in London. After that i spent the rest of the day redesigning my board. Not entirely redesigned but i changed the layout of the board to incorporate a 9 sided board rather than a 10.  This job was much easier this time around.

Other than that i started to design what the chance cards are going to look like for my game. I have created a nice emerald design and added type. I haven't decided whether to call them chance cards or emerald cards but i will have to think about it.
